To register, download and install KnowActions from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
Open the app and create an account using the Sign-Up link. Enter your Email address, Password, and Username, then tap ‘SIGN UP.’
Open the KnowActions app.
On the Welcome screen, enter your Email address and Password, then tap LOGIN.
You will remain logged in unless you Log Out using the Side Menu.
Access the side menu by tapping your profile photo or blank avatar at the top right of the screen.
Tap on My Account, then Change Password.
Enter your current password, then your new password and confirm it.
Access the side menu by tapping your profile photo or blank avatar at the top right of the screen.
Tap on My Account, then tap on the current profile photo or blank avatar to upload a new photo from your gallery or take a new one with your camera.
Create new actions by pressing the "+" button on the main screen of the mobile app. Actions can be recorded using keyboard input or speech-to-text. Add meeting details, assign the action to a user, set a due date, and track its progress through various statuses.
Actions will appear on the My Actions page. The default category when the page is opened is the ‘To Do’ category.
You can change the category you are viewing by tapping the relevant button at the top of the screen, "To Do", "On-Hold", "In Progress" or "Done". The category you are viewing will be highlighted in blue.
To change the status of an action assigned to you, drag the action from the 'To Do' list to the 'On-Hold' list, then to 'In Progress,' and finally to 'Done' once completed.
This tracking method helps monitor the progress of actions.
Actions approaching their due date will be highlighted in amber or red. Use the status updates and comments to monitor and manage your actions efficiently.
When you receive an action in KnowActions, you will be notified in several ways:
Push Notifications: If you have enabled notifications for KnowActions on your mobile device, you will receive a notification alerting you to new actions.
'My Actions' Screen: New actions will appear in bold text on the 'My Actions' screen within the app. Once you tap on the action, the text will change to normal, indicating it has been viewed.
Kanban Category Indicator: The Kanban category will display a red 'Call To Action' dot with a number, showing the count of new actions in that category.
View actions assigned to you, by you, and associated with meetings. Sort views by creation date or due date and filter views by action category.
To record an action using the speech-to-text function, tap and hold the microphone icon to record. You will need to hold the record button for the entirety of the recorded phrase.
If you are using 'Device' audio recording you will see the text appear as you record, with a slight delay.
When you are using 'Cloud' audio recording the speech input is processed to text after the recording has finished. Once you have released the microphone icon the speech-to-text input will be processed and displayed on screen. This may take a few seconds to process.
If you have a PRO plan you can assign the action to another member of your Team using Speech-to-Text. To assign it in this manner use the expression 'at [username]' which will automatically assign the action to the specified user. The basic plan uses your device’s local speech-to-text functionality, while paid plans offer advanced speech-to-text features.
Cloud' audio recording is available to users on a PRO plan.
To switch between 'device' and 'cloud' audio recording, access the side menu by tapping your profile photo or blank avatar at the top right of the screen.
Tap on My Account. Beside 'Recording Audio' you can select 'Device' or 'Cloud'. The selected mode will be coloured blue.
Your Team is the environment where you assign and get assigned meeting actions. You can invite users to your Team as needed.
Access the side menu by tapping your profile photo or blank avatar at the top right of the screen.
Tap Manage Users, then Invite User.
You can invite users using their username if they are already on KnowActions or by entering their email address.
Invited users will show as pending until they accept the invitation.
Tap the add icon at the bottom of the My Actions page. This Icon can also be accessed on the Actions Assigned by Me page and the Meeting Actions page.
On the Record Actions page, either enter text or use the speech-to-text function to add an action.

Use the + icon to assign it to another user and the calendar icon to add a due date.

You can assign actions to anyone in your Team. To add people to your Team, invite them via the KnowActions general directory or by email. They must accept your invitation to be part of your Team and receive assigned actions.
Yes, KnowActions is designed to facilitate action tracking and assignment in team meetings, ensuring visibility and completion of tasks as agreed.
Actions associated with a meeting can be seen by:
Assigned Users: Anyone who has been assigned an action.
Action Assignor: The person who assigned the actions.
KnowActions offers a basic plan for free and a paid PRO plan. Basic Plan users can connect with up to 10 users and access the mobile app.
PRO plan users have unlimited connections, access to both the mobile app and web dashboard, and additional speech-to-text functionality, being able to use 'cloud' speech-to-text audio recording and the ability to assign actions using speech input.
